Lambretta V-special 2017
Celebrating the 70th anniversary Euro Rally in Italy, Lambretta has taken the covers off the modernised classic scooter, the 2017 V-Special. This iconic scooter was a highly anticipated scooter from the Italian company. The introduction ceremony of this scooter saw an international audience of 90 guests consisting of importers, journalists, representatives, partners etc. from 18 different countries.
The designing of the Lambretta V-Special has been created by KISKA (Husqvarna and KTM) along with the home company itself. The iconic scooter exhibits a perfect combination of modern shape and design along with a vintage tinge to it. The sides of the scooter are covered with such panels that can deliver different colours, shapes and materials.
The engine used in the Lambretta V-Special will adhere to the strict Euro IV norms. This means the iconic scooter will have three different grades of engine trims namely, V50, V125 and V200. Again, in 2018, the company will issue electric engines for the V-Special scooters.
The V-Special is Lambretta’s answer to the changing trend in the way we see scooters in this present generation. It will, of course, make the enthusiast get into two minds where Vespa would be on the other side. Of course, the Italian company will be hoping for the V-Special to be as successful as the Vespa scooter models if not more successful.
The Lambretta V-Special is well received and many distributors have even pre-ordered their share in order to keep their quantities safe. Six of such models will be launched during the first quarter of 2018 and the distributors from all the continents will have an opportunity to order.
