Modified Mahindra XUV500 Crossovers
The Mahindra XUV500 crossover was launched in the winter of 2011. Ever since, the crossover has gone on to decimate the D-Segment sedan segment, offering buyers masculine styling, 7 seats, a powerful turbo diesel engine, and plenty of safety and comfort features. There’s a downside though. The XUV500 popularity has made it all too common on Indian roads. While the recent facelift does give this SUV enough to grab some more attention, a modified XUV500 is the way to go if you want people to take a second look at your ride. Here are 7 such modified Mahindra XUV500 crossovers that stand out from the crowd.
As far as over the top, look-at-me styling goes, this Mahindra XUV500 takes the cake. Built by a Bangalore based car enthusiast called Zubair Abdulla, and named the Intrepid, this XUV500 features tyres that would better suit a tractor. Red paint is used generously, from adorning the winch to sticking out from the rear on the auxiliary fuel tank. The XUV500 also sees a matte grey paint finish, a custom front grille and a resculpted bonnet.
