TVS IS GOING TO UNVEIL NEW MOTORCYCLES AND SCOOTERS.
The Hosur based automaker, TVS Motor Company is all set to take the upcoming Auto Expo by storm. The company already launched the biggest and most anticipated bike, the Apache RR 310, in the country just a few months back and now TVS is gearing up to introduce some of the most interesting bikes, scooters and concepts at the Auto Expo next month. In the report below we list down some of the two-wheelers from TVS that are expected to get launched next month, apart from that, the company will be gathering a lot of attention with the new concepts as well.
New 2018 TVS Apache RTR 160:

TVS Apache 160 has been one of the most famous motorcycles in and around 150cc power commuter segment in India. It has always been the toughest competitor to the Bajaj Pulsar 150 motorcycle and even after almost a decade of its launch, the company is selling the same in decent numbers. Now the company is planning to introduce the same in its latest 2018 avatar which is based on the new Apache RTR 200 4V platform.
As seen from some of the spy shots, the new Apache RTR 160 shares similar looks, design and body panels that make it quite a looker, like its elder brother. The only slightly noticeable differences come in the form of the flatter seat, different alloy wheels, new center panel etc. while the rest of the bits including headlight, instrument console, bodywork, exhaust can and the LED tail lamp remains the same.
What also can be clearly noticed is the more commuter focused stance on the bike as against the sporty riding posture of the Apache RTR 200 4v. Expect a launch price of Rs 80,000 to Rs 83,000.
TVS Graphite 2018:
Apart from the new Apache RTR 160, another product that can be expected is the new TVS Graphite scooter which has also been spied a couple of times now. The company unveiled the scooter for the very first time at the bygone Auto Expo back in 2016.
The scooter boasts of modern and sporty design. Talking about the front apron design, it packs headlight at the front housing of the body instead of the handle-bar and that clearly reminds of the Honda scooter designs such as the new Grazia and the Dio scooter. Other features of the scooter include an all-digital instrument cluster, an external fuel filler cap, new 12-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lamps and a chunky exhaust muffler. TVS might also add an optional petal-type disc brake up front.
As per reports, TVS might not launch the same at the Auto Expo 2018 but during the festive season later this year. Expect a price tag of Rs 60,000 when it gets launched.
TVS X21 concept:
The company has already showcased the same at the last Auto Expo back in 2016, and now chances are, the same concept can make way to this year’s Expo, but in a slightly revised form. It is nothing but the track version concept of the Apache RTR 200 4V and comes along the same 197.7 cc engine as seen on the latter. But, on the other hand, X21 receives a host of performance upgrades such as weight reduction race body kit, stiffened suspension setup that suits race tracks, performance duel muffler exhaust unit, low slung handle-bar, K&N race air-filter unit which is clearly visible from the sides.
TVS EntorQ 210:
TVS EntorQ 210 might be one of the scooters to be expected from TVS at the upcoming Auto Expo 2018. It will be one of the few performance scooters that will compete against the famous Aprilia SR 150. Talking about the engine, it is expected to get a 125cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected unit and will feature ABS, disc brakes and upside down forks as standard. Limited information is available on the same as of now.
